Makita SN001GL101 40Vmax XGT Brushless Cordless Snow Blower
The Makita SN001GL101 is a 40Vmax XGT cordless single-stage snow blower powered by a Makita brushless motor. It provides a 20-7/8″ (530 mm) clearing width, clears snow up to 11-3/4″ (300 mm) deep and has a maximum throwing distance of 32.8 ft. (10 m).
The single-stage auger handles snow intake and discharge while maintaining a compact design. Variable auger speed from 1,400 to 2,100 RPM allows the operator to adjust operation based on snow conditions and desired throwing distance.
Snow discharge can be controlled from the operating position using electric, stepless 180 horizontal chute rotation. The vertical discharge angle is manually adjustable from 20 to 60 through nine positions.
Integrated LED work lights illuminate the work area for early morning or evening snow clearing. Additional features include an electric brake, constant speed control and IPX4-rated weather resistance.
For storage, the handle folds at two points, reducing the snow blower from overall dimensions of 54″ x 21-1/4″ x 38-3/8″ to folded dimensions of 31-1/2″ x 21-1/4″ x 27-1/2″.
Battery Runtime and Clearing Area
With the included BL4080F 40Vmax XGT 8.0Ah battery, Makita rates the snow blower for approximately 20 minutes of continuous use and approximately 1,450 sq. ft. of snow clearing per charge under stated test conditions.
Those test conditions include snow with an approximate density of 150 g/L and an accumulation of 7.9″. Actual performance varies depending on snow conditions and operating speed.
